Why was Lotronex Recalled (or why should it) ?


A Lotronex recall was issued in November 2000 after evidence of ischemic colitis. Ischemic colitis is a life-threatening condition where the bowel tissue dies because of a lack of blood flow to the colon.

Lotronex was reintroduced into the market and guidelines were made for physicians wanting to prescribe the drug.

What Makes Lotronex a dangerous Drug ( side effects):
