Why was Diane-35 Recalled (or why should it be) ?
More than 800,000 prescriptions of Diane-35 were written last year and the majority of Canadian women are taking it for birth control. That’s the problem. The drug was approved by Health Canada to treat severe acne. While Diane-35 does prevent pregnancy, study also found that it increases the risk of blood clots by at least four times more than standard birth control pills.

i started 2 use diane-35 january 2011. i hve started 2 use diane-35 bcuz i culdnt c mah period every mnth as any other wman do so i also started 2 c pimples cumin up on mah face so i dcide 2 do ah check up at d doc. office. basically wen i get dere i hve xplain everyting 2 d doc. she snd mi 2 do an ultra sund so i did. afta everyting has wen true d doc tel mi dat i hve ah sml cysts. so datz d reason 4 cuzin mi nut 2 c mah period every mnth n also it cuz d acne 2 b on mah face. eventually she prescribe ah skin gel nme STIEVAMYCIN(0.01%) 2 put on mah face every nite but she also prescribe mi 2 use diane-35. yes u can hve sex but u hve 2 use a barrier method wen goin 2 hve sex. but u must hve 2 b tken d tablets on d sme regular tme u started.
