What is Lunesta used for?

Lunesta is a new treatment option for people suffering from insomnia. Lunesta is said not only helps people fall asleep quickly, but it helps them sleep restfully through the night, with fewer interruptions.

The big hype about the drug is that while current sleeping aids are generally limited to seven to ten days of use, Lunesta is the first and only medication sleep aidthat is not limited to short-term use.Lunesta can be prescribed for as long the doctor determines their patients may need it.

General Precautions with Lunesta:

  • You should only take Lunesta when you are ready to get a full night of sleep.
  • You should not drive or operate machinery.
  • Do not take with alcohol.
