Lunesta is a new prescription treatment option for people who have problems with insomnia. Lunesta helps people sleep restfully through the night, with fewer interruptions.
The big hype about the drug is that while current sleeping aids are generally limited to seven to ten days of use, Lunesta is the first and only medication sleep aidthat is not limited to short-term use. Lunesta can be prescribed for as long the doctor determines their patients may need it.
General Precautions to take when on Lunesta:
- You should only take Lunesta when you are ready to get a full night of sleep.
- You should not drive or operate machinery.
- Do not take with alcohol.
