What is Serzone used for?

Serzone is a antidepressant drug.

Why was Serzone Recalled (or why should it) ?

Serzone has been linked to reports of death and severe liver failure. Since its introduction in 1994, 55 confirmed patients in the U.S. have had Serzone-related liver failure. Because a high number of unreported cases are thought to occur, hundreds of Serzone deaths and injuries may have occurred and countless patients may have suffered.

In 2002 , 2.8 million Serzone prescriptions were filled in the U.S.

Even though Canadian and euproean officials have announced that they would ban Serzone because of its risks, the FDA had not made similar actions. But then again does that really suprise anyone that the FDA once again is not protecting the public.

The influence that the corrupt and powerful drug companies have over the government and the FDA has been questioned over the years. Serzone’s allowance to remain on the market is just another example of the corruption.

What Makes Serzone a dangerous Drug ( side effects and risks):

  • Hepatic risks
  • When used by children it is believed to cause in increase in suicide risk.
  • Serious Liver injury.

Common Misspelling or other names: sarzone, sirzone
