A new study says that, men who cheat are more likely to die early and suffer from migraines.

The theory is that the stress caused from cheating may be contributing to the early deaths. In fact, there is also evidence that a healthy marriage can be good for your overall health. People with a happy marriage generally live longer than those engaged in risky behaviors.

Is rubbing Whiskey on gums an old wives tale?

Q . Does rubbing Whiskey on a baby’s gums help them when teething

A. Don’t use it for teething pain, you should never give any kind of alcohol to a baby even if it’s just on their gums.

Here are a couple things you can do:

Frozen towel - Roll up a wet hand towel and freeze it, the baby can then chew on it then it is frozen.

Frozen Popsicles

Teething toys

Don’t do these:

Rub Vitamin C on Gums

Rub Asprin on Gums

Rub Alcohol on Gums

Management at the peanut processing plant in Blakely, Georgia, responsible for the huge salmonella outbreak, knowingly sent out contaminated peanut butter. Workers are saying that management knew about the problem and also did nothing to correct problems with mold growing on their walls and ceilings.

The salmonella problem has infected more than 500 people in America, and has caused at least eight deaths.

Between June 2007 and September 2008, The FDA found products contaminated by salmonella on at least 12 occasions. However, the Peanut Corporation of America still shipped the tainted products.

Symptoms of salmonella can include diarrhea, fever and cramping.

1/3 of all American kids are physical unfit and the problem is getting a lot worse.....

Obesity is a huge problem and it is effecting more kids than ever. Since 1977 the portion sizes at fast food restaurants have dramatically increased. In fact, the average hamburger has 97 more calories than it did 30 years ago.

Obesity can set your child up for a life time of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes and back problems.

How bad is the obesity problem with kids?

1/3 of American kids are physical unfit.

The average kid spends 4-5 hours a day watching T.V and sitting at a computer.

30% of kids and teens can not pace a standard fitness test.

So what can you do to help your child lose weight

Use smaller cups and plates - your child will feel like he or she is eating a full meal without feeling deprived.

Eat together as a family. Families that eat together have half the weight problems of those that don’t.

Get rid of the Sugar

Stop Drinking Juice. Juices have a lot of extra calories and sugar that your body doesn’t need.

Switch to Water - Start drinking water instead of soda, juice or flavored drinks.

Get up and get out. Go to the park, go skating, throw a ball around. Anything you can do to get your heart rate up will help you lose weight.

Walk - Walking is the safest and easiest way to lose weight.

Nightshades used to be thought of as something that was poisonous but are now some of the most widely eaten foods.......

Nightshades used to be thought of as something that was poisonous and not for human consumption. In fact, they were once only used as ornaments. But these days things have changed, they are now some of the most popular foods, and are eaten by people world wide.

So What are Nightshades?
Nightshades are a diverse group of herbs and foods that include:

potatoes

tomatoes

Peppers (both sweet and hot peppers)

eggplants

pimentos

paprika

Cayenne Peppers (although there are some studies that have shown that Cayenne Peppers may help arthritis and joint pain)

Tabasco sauce

So whats the deal? Should people eat nightshades?

Well, most experts really aren’t sure. Two of the biggest problems associated with nightshades are arthritis and inflammation. There have been numerous studies that have suggested that eating nightshades like tomatoes, may cause or make your arthritis problems worse.

If you suffer from inflammation or joint problems like arthritis and gout, you might want to stop eating nightshades for a couple week. Eliminating Nightshades from your diet will help you determine whether your problems are food related, or caused by another source. In some cases, eliminating nightshades has been enough to stop painful joint problems in a lot of people.
