Approval of Prescription medication

Did you know that most of the studies that help a prescription get approve are payed for by the pharmaceutical companies.  It has gotten so bad that over 85% of all prescription studies are funded by the Medication companies.

So how bad is it?

• 50% of the studies that the FDA conducts are funded by the pharmaceutical companies.
• 90% of the time when you test one medication against another the sponsor of the study wins
• Most of the information a doctor gets on a medication are from the pharmaceutical sales people.
• If a doctor is informed about a medication from another source, it is ussually from a pharmaceutical company sponsored study.
• The pharmaceutical companies are covering up side effects and most doctors have no idea. In fact, most doctors are in the dark about the risks of most prescription medications.
