Horehound for the treatment of bronchitis.

Horehound is a plant that is often used in the treatment of bronchitis. It works by relaxing the  muscles of the bronchus while at the same time promoting mucus production and expectoration. It is very useful in treating whooping cough.Horeshound is also helpful in increasing  flow and secretion of bile from the gall-bladder, and aiding digestion.

Horehound is often used in children’s cough remedies and in some cough drops.

• Hood for Coughs
• A tonic for the respiratory system and stomach.
• In large doses it can be a good  laxative.
