Black Haw has been used to help prevent miscarriage, decrease bleeding after childbirth, and to treat breathing problems like bronchitis and asthma. It is also used lower blood pressure in hypertension.
Black Haw is a powerful uterine relaxant and is often used in the treatment of spasmodic dysmenorrhoea, excessive menstrual flow and false labour pain.
