The FDA itself admits that many of these drugs may be danegerous but does nothing to fix the problem.
There’s a regulatory loophole allows pharmaceutical companies to get these medications to the pharmacies to sell them without the FDA being able to monitor it.
When the pharmaceutical companies submit a new medicine for approval, the FDA gives it a 10-digit Code. The problems comes because pharmacies use this same number as order numbers that will work even if the medication is not FDA approved.
It seems that doctors and pharmacists are either unaware of this problem or they just don’t care. In fact, a recent survey showed that more than 9 out of 10 pharmacists did not know they might be giving out medications that have not yet approved by the FDA.
Though the FDA has known about this problem for more than four decades, it has only recently started cracking down on the practice. FDA officials said they are issuing more warnings and even pulling some drugs off the market.
People are dieing from these medications and the FDA refuses to do anything to fix this loophole.
In shocking comments to the AP Hillary Clinton has said that she wants to make it illegal for people to be hired by an employer if you do not have a healthcare plan.
What is this country coming to when a politician is allowed to force people to buy something against their will?
In the comments to the AP Clinton was quoted as saying “you will have to show proof to your employer that you’re insured as a part of the job interview, like when your kid goes to school and has to show proof of vaccination.”
Well it looks like The Republicans are crazy, the Democrats are Heartless and evil, and Hillary is just plain Nuts!!!!!
Well it looks like the FDA has allowed Big Pharma to sell some rather dangerous medications yet again. The widely used diabetes pills Actos and it’s main rival Avandia seem to be causing people to have a lot of heart problems.
Some Researchers are recommending that the older cheaper diabetes pills be prescribed as a replacement for these new dangerous meds.
Older prescription medications such as Metformin are available in generic form and cost less than 20 cents a day ten times cheaper than Avandia and Actos.
HEY FDA! Why are these pharmaceutical companies allowed to put out new medications that are no better, and often times do more harm than the generic versions that have been around for years? How about not worrying about Big Pharmas profits and instead worry about keeping us safe
